Mañana
Amárach. Domani. Demain. Tomorrow.
Bloody hell, it's nearly upon us!
We spent yesterday in a mad whirl through West London. First we saw the caterers at their office in Wembley, then we picked up my brother, also in Wembley and headed for North Ealing to pick up the suits. After that, and a well-deserved pint in Duffy's Bar, we headed on down to Hounslow to see the registrar. The lady that was going to conduct the wedding - Deniece - isn't well, so we'll be married by another nice lady called Debbie Smith.
Having had our meeting with Debbie and the assistant registrar Tracy, we headed for Syon Park for the wedding rehearsal. We met Simmi's parents, my parents, Ant and Rod there and we all were shown round by Beckie and Margaret who are the Syon House event rganisers and they put myself, Simmi, Dev, Ant, Rod (the music maestro) and Tony through our steps (rather slow ones at that!).
I must say, that having done that bit, it's all feeling rather real now.
Afterwards we all went to the Botanist on the Green at Kew, where we were met by Chris and Tony's wife Sarah. We had a lovely meal there (I had ostrich - yum!), and then I said goodbye to Simmi knowing that the next time I see her will be at 4pm at Syon House in all our finery.
Are you as excited as us yet?
